満ち欠けというかたちで日々変化しながら見守るように私たちを見下ろす月。
時に夜空を明るく照らし、青空にも映えるその姿は物語の主役となることも多く、
これまでにたくさんの「月」が描かれてきました。
そして今でも旧暦として残る暦の文化にも月は欠かせない存在です。
私たちの生活ととても縁の深い月。
そんな「月」をテーマにした展覧会です。
